The Island

Last week, some of the Team members went to the Island for a great time of surf fishing.
Isa, Freako, Indra and Anuar were the ones who were there.
The rest of the team can't make it as they have work commitments. Anyway here is the catch report from THE ISLAND.
Told the weather there was freakin hot and later in the late afternoon there was a heavy downpour.

The Gears Used During The Trip

The story goes on as Isa's Daiwa Landcaster was pulled by a monster and dropped flat on the ground. His Daiwa Sealine-X was screaming in pain while the main line was being pulled....
As swift as lightning Isa picked up his rod and gave it a good clean strike and the monster was hooked. Fighting slowly and steadily, " Stand by the Gaff" he shouted. He reeled In the monster inch by inch......Then suddenly to his dissapointment his main line give way when the the monster was about to be landed! "Alamak!!" he shouted in anger and dissapoinment. The boys stood still....doesnt want to believe that the monster has gotten away......Well guys, there will be another time!!

Objectives: To try out our new surfcasting outfits.


Hi peeps!! Welcome again to another update of Team Nelayan Inc! This time round we went to East Coast Park to try out our newly bought fishing gears. And most importantly to fish on that particular ground which NazFreako had selected earlier....mmmmhhhm.
Upon reaching, we set up our gears as quickly as possible, cause the tide is rising at 2.7metres!
Baits used were the most common, pumpuns, wat-wat and kelong sotong.

The only fish caught that night.

Nelayan INc goes to Horsburg

Spot: Horsburg

Hi guys!! Welcome again to our humble site.....The team went to Horsburg for deep water fishing....and what a boat that was!! Yes! We were on board the Nelayana!

I think that is the most luxurious fishing boat ever in singapore...with its comfortable cabin with 12 beds in it and fully airconditioned....

Below is the picture of the cabin ...he he he Mr Gensek Is sleeping comfortably in it.

Well...finish with story of the boat..let's get down and dirty with the CR's at Horsburg!!! YEEEHAAH!

The Catch Reports..

Actually the weather at Horsburg was quite bad.,, cold winds and was raining evey minute...but that doesn't deter us from fishing the deep seas....

The team went to L6 for a night of chatting and fishing, not forgetting to discuss our future trip to Horsburg...
Reached there at about 11pm....Indra being the early bird was already there.The rest of the crew arrived later...
Baits used that night were pumpuns and kelong sotong...Indra bought the pumpuns and Freako bought the kelong sotong...
Juvenile fishes were caught and most of it were released....we were actually quite dissapointed that night as we were all waiting for the biggies...he he you guys should know what i mean.
But our dissapointment came to an end...GUess who visited us that nite???The one and only Rizan of Singapore Sea Brothers..
We chatted for a while...but he has to go as no one is looking after his rod...
Then after around 30mins he came back with his trusty digital camera.."Come take picture, take picture." and below is the end product.

Nelayan INc goes to Sedili Malaysia

Team Nelayan Inc went to Sedili for great off shore fishing.
It was a two day one night event..heard the boatman and the skipper are experienced fishermen.
Isa was the organiser and the trip went well....
The team did great with their jigging skills and not to mention their deep water technique.
All round the trip was a success...Well done guys!!

Trip to Eastern Waters...

This time the guys went fishing to one of the beaches at east coast...

Ha ha ha!! But too bad no outstanding fishes were caught...only bait fishes were caught from netcasting and silly me as i forgot to take the pictures of the fishes caught from it.

What a night that was....heavy rain and more heavy rains!
